Apple has officially unveiled the Apple Watch Series 11, now equipped with a more scratch-resistant display glass, 5G connectivity, and an optical-based hypertension detection feature. Alongside it, the company introduced the redesigned Apple Watch SE 3 and the new Apple Watch Ultra 3, which features a larger display area and enhanced satellite connectivity.

The Apple Watch Series 11 boasts a display surface twice as scratch-resistant as that of the Series 10, while also adding support for 5G networks across the United States, Europe, Japan, China, India, and more regions (with expected support in Taiwan as well). This upgrade promises faster and more efficient connectivity.

On the health front, the Series 11 introduces an optical hypertension detection function, enabling users to assess their potential risk of high blood pressure. The feature will be rolled out in 150 countries and regions worldwide. Apple has also strengthened sleep-tracking capabilities, introducing a new Sleep Score, developed from over five million nights of recorded sleep data, giving users clearer insights into sleep quality and daily habit adjustments.

Design-wise, the Series 11 retains the overall look of its predecessor but debuts additional Liquid Glass–styled watch faces with watchOS 26. Battery life continues to meet full-day use. The lineup includes models crafted from 100% recycled aluminum in jet black, silver, rose gold, and white, as well as 100% recycled titanium in titanium gray, gold, and black. Apple is also launching new strap options, including collaborations with Hermes and Nike.

Apple Watch SE 3

The updated Apple Watch SE 3 features the new S10 processor, gesture control, heart-rate monitoring, fall detection, SOS emergency calling, menstrual cycle tracking, and the newly introduced Sleep Score. It can even play music directly through its built-in speaker. The SE 3 also supports twice-as-fast charging, providing up to 8 hours of usage from just 15 minutes of charging, and is made entirely of recycled aluminum in black and silver finishes.

The Apple Watch Ultra 3 pushes the boundaries further with a redesigned LTPO3 display panel, delivering Apple’s largest-ever watch screen without increasing case size. It also debuts new watch faces and incorporates satellite connectivity through redesigned antennas, offering two years of free emergency SOS via satellite, as well as the ability to send text messages and integrate with Find My using satellite signals. The Ultra 3 delivers up to 48 hours of battery life. Like the Series 11, it also supports 5G and the Sleep Score feature, while offering exclusive new strap options.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

Preorders for the Apple Watch Series 11, SE 3, and Ultra 3 begin today, with sales officially launching on September 19. Pricing starts at $349 USD for the Series 11, $249 USD for the SE 3, and $799 USD for the Ultra 3.
